1. Agreement to these terms

By using Tessera at tessera.3rt1.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What the service is

Tessera is a free pentomino game operated by Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC). It offers three ways to play: two single-device modes that run entirely in your browser, and a live mode where one shared screen shows the board while each player takes their turn from their own device.

There are no accounts, no subscriptions and nothing to pay for. We do not charge for the game and we do not sell anything through it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to harass, abuse or impersonate anyone
• enter another person’s name or personal information as a display name
• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service
• use automated means to flood live tables or the contact form

4. Live tables

Anyone with a table’s short code can join it or watch it. Codes are short by design, so that a room full of people can read one off a screen — treat a table as public rather than private, and do not put anything in a display name you would not want a stranger to see.

Tables and everything in them are deleted automatically a couple of days after play ends. The service is not a place to store anything.

5. Availability

We provide the service as it is, without any guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, including live mode, without notice. The single-device games continue to work offline once loaded.

6. Intellectual property

Pentominoes are a classical mathematical form and belong to nobody. The Tessera name, its design, its objectives and secret bonuses, and the code that runs it are ours. You may play the game freely; you may not copy or redistribute the site or its content as your own.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or for any loss of data. The service is free, and our total liability to you is limited accordingly.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
